Impossible by Komal Lewis Blog Tour- Top 10

Hello there!
Welcome to our stop for the Impossible Book Tour, hosted by Romantic Maidens Book Tours! Today Komal Lewis, the author if Impossible, it telling about her top 10! Looking for great books to read, check out these great suggestions!

Top 10 Books You Read This Year and why?

For an avid reader like myself, this is such a hard question to answer. I must admit, I fell behind on my reading this year and my TBR pile has seriously gotten out of control! That being said, I have split the Top 10 List into two Top 5 Lists of books I’ve read and loved, and books I’m going to read next and will probably love.

Top 5 Books I Read This Year and Loved

Easy
1. Easy by Tammara Webber
Easy is a great romance and one of those books that you can’t put down once you start reading. I kept wondering why it took Jacqueline so long to connect the dots in the story, but I still loved it. Lucas was also a great male character to swoon over. (P.S. Tammara Webber is also really nice)

The Vincent Boys (The Vincent Boys, #1)2. The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines
The Vincent Boys was what started my Contemporary kick midway through the year. I’d never read much Contemporary Romance before this book, and I loved it so much! I can’t believe how much I was missing out on. Great characters, steamy scenes, and a nice twist at the end too. It’s a must-read! (I subsequently read While it Lasts by Abbi Glines and loved it too.)
Pure (Covenant, #2)
3. Pure – Jennifer L. Armentrout
I had mixed feelings about Half-Blood, the first book in this series, but Jennifer wrote well enough for me to give Pure a chance. And, boy, am I glad I did! I loved it! Okay, so I loved Seth, but still! This was a great book and it gave us a better look into the mythology and the politics of Alex’s world. I really enjoyed this one.
The Edge of Never
4. The Edge of Never by Rednerski
“Wow” is all I can say. Easy was my favourite book of the year until I read The Edge of Never. I LOVE this book. The writing was beautiful and the characters took me on this amazing journey that I didn’t want to end. Believe me, you need to read this book. Immediately.
Fallen crest high
5. Fallen Crest High by Ti Jan
I love this book too! Ti Jan doesn’t hold back in what is a gritty, dark journey into high school and the people who are a part of it. This one might not be for everyone, but I really enjoyed it. If you’re looking for something different and unique, try it!

Top 5 Books I Will Read by the End of the Year and Probably Love

Deity (Covenant, #3)
1. Deity by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I’m currently reading Deity and from what my friends have told me, it’s amazing! I’m only a few chapters into it, but already Jennifer’s writing has pulled me in and makes me feel for her characters. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
Stitch (Stitch Trilogy, #1)
2. Stitch by Samantha Durante
Samantha is a friend of mine, but I’ve had my eye on Stitch since it was first released (before Samantha and I became friends). I’ve heard great things about this book and that it combines two genres together. That definitely takes skill, so I can’t wait to check it out! Plus, it’s easily my favourite book cover of the year.
Rock the Heart (Black Falcon, #1)
3. Rock the Heart by Michelle Valentine
I heard this book broke into the Top 100 on the Amazon Best Seller list the first day it was released! That’s amazing! I’d heard things about it before it was released, and it’s been sitting on my TBR since then. I can’t wait to read it!
The Proposition
4. The Proposition by Katie Ashley
This sounds like a great read and I can’t wait to unwind with this one. Contemporary Romances are SO my thing this year!
Charade (The Games Series, #1)
5. Charade by Nyrae Dawn
Another book that I am dying to get to! Actually, I’m pretty sure that Nyrae Dawn is going to be one of my favourite authors pretty soon. Her books sound fab, and I’ve got my eye on Measuring Up.

Check out the Book!

Title: Impossible
SeriesWith Me, #1
Author: Komal Lewis
Self-Published
Release Date: October 26, 2012
Pages: 254
Ashton Summers is on her way to becoming the most popular girl in school and nothing—or no one—is going to stand in her way. Especially not Luca Byron, her freak neighbor, with his tattoos, loud music, and distracting green eyes.
Luca Byron has three goals in life: get through high school with a low profile, make sure his garage band becomes something more than a hobby, and try to forget about his insufferable ex-best friend, Ashton, who he can’t get out of his mind.
The last thing Ashton and Luca want to do is rekindle their friendship, but when Ashton takes a tumble down the social ladder, Luca—with his new makeover—is the only one who can help her rise up again by pretending to be her boyfriend. At first, being together is unbearable and annoying, but things start to change as Ashton and Luca discover the real reasons they drifted apart seven years ago.
Now, keeping their hands off each other seems impossible.
