Review of Anna and the French Kiss

Anna and the French KissThe Summary
Anna can't wait for her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a good job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. So she's not too thrilled when her father unexpectedly ships her off to boarding school in Paris - until she meets Etienne St. Clair, the perfect boy. The only problem? He's taken, and Anna might be, too, if anything comes of her crush back home. Will a year of romantic near-misses end in the French kiss Anna awaits?

The Review
I fell in love with this book....or more like with St.Clair ;). I never really liked YA Contemp novels, but had to read this book...the book just sounded to amazing! So I am so glad i got this book for #RAK because well, it was Amazing !
Anna and the French Kiss, had this natural and realistic feel to it. While reading most books, you fall in love but you know it can never happen, but Stephanie Perkins made this book so realistic that, well I can actually believe things like this do happen! Well other than the part where I can find my own St.Clair.
Now since I have already mentioned him, let's discuss....
St.Clair is everything a girl can want! First, american born but has a British accent *swoon*! But then there is more...he is absolutely French ! Is there anything more perfect! I mean look at his name 'Etienne' ! It's just *swoon* ! But he is also this sweet charismatic guy, and oh so romantic! If i tell you what he does, well it will ruin his charm for you...maybe....hmmm...
He is also told to be short, though I can't picture him at all being short, though maybe he is- but just taller than me...no one is shorter than...so i guess that's why I couldn't picture him short, because short for me is really short! He is just truly amazing, even if his life sucks most of the time and he has the worst father available!
Other than swooning over St.Clair, I also enjoyed the other characters....especially Anna. She is a confused and frustrated teen. I completely understand her, and she isn't the one girl who is always tormenting and says yes to everyone. She acts like a real human, she says no, she speaks her mind, but I guess she can't see clearly how St.Clair loves her, and well she is clueless...she is like me....other than the part where i am shipped off to France, and meet an amazing guy ( if only).
And by far other than the guy, and the realistic-ness this book is too funny. Almost every page i busted out laughing at the jokes and well reactions and actions of everyone...for example:

"He pats his way around the the bed and slides back in. "Ow," he says.

"yes?" "My belt. Would it be weird..." I'm thankful he can't see me blush."Of course not." And I listen to the slap of leather, s he pulls it out of his belt loops. He lays it gently on my hardwood floor. "Um," he says. "Would it be weird-" "yes" "Oh, piss off. I'm not talking trousers. I only want under the blankets. That breeze is horrible." He slides underneath, and now we're lying side-by-side. In my narrow bed. Funny, but I never never imagined my first sleepover with a guy being, well, a sleepover."

By far this is one of my favorite reads this year and well it was amazing ! This book is already out so go and get it, because you wont regret it ! :D this book totally deserves a 5/5 for being realistic, and just so fluid and natural! Thanks Stephanie Perkins, for this and Lola :D and next year Isla :D
