Author Visit @ Torrance High School

Hey everyone!

Today is just a super awesome post thanking all the authors who came to my school on March 30th, 2012. In October I had this idea to have authors visit my high school so I went on Twitter, and Google and began to contact people! I was so surprised at the response I got! So yesterday 17 amazing authors and one of the coolest librarians I know came to the event! Here are some pictures :D

The whole Library was made into stations so students could meet the amazing authors!

I also got to take a bunch of pictures with all the authors who came!

Everyone bought books to get signed! There was a great crowd!

We also had a few games and giveaways! We gave out a set of books, as well as prize pack to one  student!

Thank you to Mysterious galaxy- Redondo Beach, for coming out and supporting the event! 

We had a bunch of authors stay in later to meet the creative writing students, and English classes! So it was Impromptu Panel time! We also got to hear great stories and Gretchen McNeil Sing!

Sara Wilson Etiene and a few other authors took pictures at all the Buffy Locations.  *My high school is where Buffy the Vampire slayer was filmed, as well as Beverly Hills 90210*

I was all smiles that day :D
