My Review

     This book, was a  really great middle grade read. Also read for the read-a-thon. I had an ARC and i hadn't read the Misfits or Totally Joe. But i really enjoyed this book. Written in poetry style really helped enhance the journey of reading the book. I have no idea how James Howe was able to create a 7th grader so perfectly! I was really able to feel this book, because how Addie discussed being bullied, and life as a 7th grader didn't go great for her, reminded me of middle school. I was bullied a lot, and i really was able to connect. This is a great read, and James Howe did an amazing job portraying Addie and creating this book. i would give it 4.5 / 5 .
