Review: Falling for Hadie by Komal Kant

“Sometimes there is a single moment that changes your life forever.”

Hadie Swinton is giving up on boys.

After a disastrous relationship, she is convinced that all males are the same—arrogant, self-assured, and complete jerks.

Lincoln Bracks is giving up on his old life.

After moving to a new town to escape the problems plaguing him, he is set against ever getting close to anyone again.

When Hadie and Lincoln’s worlds collide, their intrigue for one another leads them to open up to each other against their better judgment. Despite the attraction that is pulling them together, insecurities, secrets, and shattered hopes stand in the way of them ever being together.

At a time when darkness consumes their lives, Hadie and Lincoln learn that hope and love can still be found in the most unlikely place.

Darker Days (Darker Agency, #1) by Jus Accardo Cover Reveal

Jessie Darker goes to high school during the day, but at night she helps with the family investigation business. Cheating husbands and stolen inheritances? They’re your girls—but their specialty is a bit darker. Zombie in your garage? Pesky Poltergeist living in your pool? They’ll have the problem solved in a magical minute. For a nominal fee, of course...

When gorgeous new client, Lukas Scott, saunters into the office requesting their help to find a stolen box, it sounds like a simple case—until the truth comes out. The box is full of Sin.

Seven deadly ones, in fact.

They’ve got five days to recapture the Sins before they're recalled by the box, taking seven hijacked human bodies with them. Easy peasy—except for one thing...

There’s a spell that will allow the Sins to remain free, causing chaos forever. When the key ingredient threatens the life of someone she knows, Jessie must make the ultimate choice between love and family—or lose everything.

Reviews: Deity and Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout

By the titles above you can tell I am doing a dual review today! It's been a while since I last read Deity and I just recently finished Apollyon, so why not have two reviews in one! I swear, JLA is one of the most amazeball authors out there. Every time I read one of her books it's impossible for me to put it down. I literally got both books and read them each in one night. I fell in love with both books! Let's just say you you are in for an emotional roller coaster with the third and fourth books of the Covenant series!

Sweltering Heat, Bloggers, Authors, and Books

Those who have met me know I love going to book festivals, signings, or any event really! I love to go out, meet new people, and at the same time spend the the day doing something that I love. So as some of you may have heard, a few weeks ago I had gone to the LA Times Festival of Books :D Like last year there was crazy heat, amazing authors, food trucks, and all around fun. But unlike last year my best friend couldn't make it :(, the group I went with was still awesome but they were the younger siblings of our group last year, and we had no solid game plan *woops*.
