Review of Elements by Kate Fuentes

The Summary (Goodreads)
Destiny brought them into this world to save mankind and malevolent forces will stop at nothing in order to annihilate them.
Born with extraordinary powers, fraternal twins Gage and Talon Thorn learn how to control their mystical abilities. Tragedy strikes the family and their ordinary father Gable is forced to raise them on his own. Pain and loss encompass the Thorns as they persevere to live a normal life in a place determined to destroy their happiness.
Soon their incredible gifts need proper nurturing and Gable recruits a special group of people to help in their upbringing. A sassy, tenacious nanny named Leia and an eccentric unorthodox warrior named Maui complete the dream team of mentors to aid in the complexity of their lives.
The brothers are determined to protect the family that has sacrificed so much for their sake. Evil, wicked forces lurk in the shadows and the boys are in danger if they don't learn how to control their unique talents. Humanity rests in the hands of the young brothers as they embark on an epic adventure to save mankind from the dark Emperor.

My Review
When I was given this book for review, I checked for online summaries, goodreads, reviews,  etc...to get a hint for what i was up for. Well i must say all that research combined together can not summarize how great this book is.
In the Begging you are hit with BOOM and BAM, the story begins. Not too much extra cherries or toppings on the sundae, it was a perfect intro. While reading this, I was a it lost till about chapter 3. I had really no idea why  Gable was moving to Australia (sorry about that spoiler), but as the story progresses and the twins get older everything falls right into place. While reading i felt that this book is perfect for any age; Starting from Middle grade to adults, it works wonderfully.
For middle-grade and YA readers this worked because it followed the story of a family as a whole and how they had have to basically save the world before evil takes over. Perfect for middle grade because you can see the good versus evil comparison, yet while reading you don't feel it's directed toward younger readers so adult and YA readers would enjoy as well.
There was a lot of very witty humor following the Twins ( Talon and Gage) and to tell you the truth, they are true complete sweethearts. If they were older, they would be the one every girl would fall for, not because they are amazingly hot, but more because they are so imperfect. They are exceedingly handsome no doubt about that, but their humor, sense of adventures, and of course their powers, just make them pure amazing! :D
The humor throughout the book felt so natural to the characters and really helped the book stand together as a whole. Not only was the humor working for it, but the different perspectives of each character, and how the book jumped from evil to good, it really helped keep the evolve the story. The twins had such a huge task ahead of them and i just can't wait to see how they pull through in the next book. I had a great time reading it, and i must say if you enjoy supernatural, adventure, or just want a fun read in general this is a great book to go for. Kate Fuentes did an amazing job and I can not wait for the next book! I would give this book a 4 or a 4.5/5 , it truly was a wonderful read!

I would also like to thank Kate Fuentes for sending me this book! I really enjoyed it :D
