*For me, YA is who I am. Reading YA allows me to relate to characters who know what I am going through at the moment. I can only semi relate to my peers, but in books it's not the same. Whether it be bullying, love, academics, or stress, there is always a character in some book who knows exactly what I am going through. YA also provides me an escape when I really need one.
